Blogging while living abroad

I haven't blogged in quite a while, but I'm trying to start up again. I studied abroad in Rome during my junior year of college and somehow managed to maintain a blog for an entire semester, full of both my exciting international trips and my day-to-day life in Italy.

I think I was motivated to consistently post then because 1. my mom's incessant pressure to update her in-detail on my latest Euro-adventures and 2. the content seemed out-of-the-ordinary from my "normal" life in the US. While that still holds some merit, I think even our most mundane moments are worth sharing, if you or anyone else can get something out of it. Whether that be a scoff, a giggle, or a contemplative gaze out a window, I'm cool with it. Whatever is clever. My friend Tina likes to say that phrase, and I dig it. Basically anything that rhymes I can get on board with.

Anyway, I'm going to try and start blogging again. I received some extremely biased but nonetheless flattering feedback when I used to blog abroad, so we'll see how this goes. Later gators! (Get it? Another rhyme thing? Haha k bye forever.)
